TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
These Terms & Conditions outline the commitment you, parent/student, undertake at Tarbiyah Institute L.C. for the duration of the course. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully in order to finalize attendance of the course. By registering for this course, you acknowledge and agree to all the policies outlined below.
1. Classroom Policies
1.1 You, the student, will attend all classes. Absences and lack of punctuality will seriously hinder your progress. You will be responsible for your own development in the course(s).
1.2 You, the student, will take part in the exercises set as part of the course, to the best of your ability. Please ensure you will be able to dedicate the required number of hours outside of class before applying as we do not offer refunds.
1.3 Administrative and payment queries must be referred to: payment@tarbiyahinstitute.com or the Administrator, not the course Tutor.
1.4 The printing of course material or purchasing of the course text is the responsibility of the student, unless otherwise advised in the course outline.
2. Code of Conduct
2.1 Tarbiyah Institute L.C. reserves the right to remove any student that it deems to have willfully caused damage to classroom property or the property of another student or teacher, or deliberately acted unprofessionally or discourteously. This includes, and is not limited to, jeopardizing the teaching and learning in the classroom, causing physical harm and using abusive language.
2.2 The rules and etiquettes of conduct should be adhered to at all times. (Please refer to the “Student Code of Conduct” for further information and details)
3. Course Fees (Registration/Tuition)
3.1 Registration Fees must be paid in full prior to the start of a course.
3.2 Tuition Fees can be paid after registration completion.
3.3 Tuition Fees can be paid off at once or through installments.
3.4 Tuition Fees are payable Online or in Person via:
- Debit/Credit Card
- PayPal
- Check
- Cash
3.5 Tuition Fees are subject to payment regardless of Student attendance.
3.6 Course Fees are non-refundable except under the following circumstances:
a) The course is cancelled by Tarbiyah Institute L.C.
b) The course date is changed, and students have contacted Tarbiyah Institute L.C. within 48 hours after being notified of the change.
3.7 Installment plans cannot be cancelled once activated. Cancellation of Installment Plans without informing Tarbiyah Institute L.C. will result in the student being de-enrolled from their course.

4. Student Status
4.1 “Applicant” – you have applied for a course and paid the Registration Fee. You have as yet not been made an offer of a place. If we are unable to offer you a place, your Registration Fee will be refunded.
4.2 “Provisional Student” – You have been made an offer and partial fees have been paid. The place will only be confirmed after full payment is made or a payment plan is agreed.
4.3 “Enrolled Student” – You have been offered a place on your course and have completed full payment or have agreed payment plan with the institute.
4.4 Tarbiyah Institute L.C. reserves the right to accept or reject any Student-Applicant according to its discretion.
5. Student Transfers
5.1 Course transfer from one semester to another is not allowed.
5.2 Course transfer to another course in the same semester is at the discretion of Tarbiyah Institute L.C.. Course fees are non-refundable.
6. Re-sit Students
6.1 Any re-sit student is entitled to a 50% discount on the course fees.
6.2 Places for re-sit students are limited and are only available in the final week prior to the start of a course. Some courses are not available for re-sit students.
7. Exam Make-ups & Re-takes
7.1 Any student who is unable to attend his/her scheduled exams should privately inform the Administrator regarding their absence.
7.2 A request of rescheduling a “Make-up Exam” should be sought by the respective student/parent.
7.3 Any student who has failed their exam under a score of 50% will be allowed to have a “Re-take Exam” under the supervision of the respective Instructor.
7.4 All “Make-up Exams” and “Re-take Exams” will be rescheduled at the discretion of the Administrator.
7.5 There will be a “$25 Examination Fee” for each “Make-up” and “Re-take” Exam.
8. Course Material & Copyright
8.1 You will be able to access your course materials when you have been formally registered for the course, provided that we have received your payment. Access to any course material will be delayed until payment is received.
8.2 Access to the course material is not available after the course end date. The course material remains the property of Tarbiyah Institute L.C. and may not be distributed.
9. Grading and Certification (If Applicable)
9.1 Certification is subject to passing the exam. Registered students can contact the Administrator by e-mail at: admin@tarbiyahinstitute.com
10. Communications
10.1 All communications between Tarbiyah Institute L.C. and students will be primarily via e-mail, therefore, it is imperative that students provide their most recent e-mail address and check their email accounts regularly.
10.2 Occasionally Tarbiyah Institute L.C. may contact parents/students via mobile SMS for e.g. to notify them of class cancellations. If parents/students do not prefer to be contacted via this method, they should e-mail: admin@tarbiyahinstitute.com requesting this.
10.3 It is the responsibility of the parent/student to notify the Tarbiyah Institute L.C. Admin Team of any changes to his/her contact details.
11. Acknowledgements / Requests
11.1 Parent/Guardian acknowledges/requests and also gives approval that: (a) any medication be administered as and when prescribed by the Physician according to his/her statement. (b) for the staff of Tarbiyah Institute L.C. to give non-prescriptive medications such as acetaminophen or cough syrup according to the instructions given on the containers. (c) in case of an emergency their son/daughter can be given First Aid/emergency medical & dental treatment. (d) in case of any illness or accident, no claims will be made against Tarbiyah Institute L.C..
12. FEBA Acceptance & Approval
12.1 Parent/Guardian acknowledges and also gives approval that they: release and hold harmless the Federation of Balkan American Association (FEBA) and International Association for support and development of civil society, its employees and contractors from all liability for all types of damages or injuries, whether foreseeable or not, sustained by theirselves, their child and other family members while participating, watching and traveling to or from this activity. They also hereby authorize the center to reproduce, copy, exhibit, broadcast or distribute their image or their child’s image in any and all videotapes and photographs taken while participating, watching and traveling to or from the activity for promotional purposes.
