Attire & Adornment
Among the treasures of this world is the beauty of a Woman. Like all valuable treasures in life, proper care and protection needs to be given in order to keep safeguarded in one’s possession. For this specific reason, Allah (SWT) has blessed humanity with modest clothing from His entire creation.
In regards to the purpose of attire,
Allah (SWT) says:
“Oh Children of Adam! Indeed We have sent down to you Clothing
to cover your Private-parts and for beauty.”
In regards to the best clothing,
Allah (SWT) says:
“The Clothing of Taqwa is the Best for you.”
In this series of “Attire & Adornment” we will delve into the Islamic rulings and regulations concerning:
- Women’s Dress,
- Concept of Ḥijaab,
- Rulings of Ḥijaab,
- Rules of Privacy,
- Adornment & Beautification and more.
