Custom Umrah
Overview
‘Umrah by definition means “Prosperity“. It is a sacred pilgrimage to the epicenter of the world to meet at the House of your Creator – Allah (SWT).
Regarding the significance of this meeting, Allah (SWT) says in the Qur’ān:
“Pilgrimage to the (Sacred) House is a debt Mankind owes to Allah.”
There are 3 primary virtues one receives for performing ‘Umrah:
- Forgiveness of one’s Sins
- Prosperity in one’s Life
- Reward in the Hereafter
In regards to the prophetic virtues,
the Prophet (SAW) said:
“One ‘Umrah to the next is an expiation of sins between the intervening period.”
“Follow up between the Hajj and ‘Umrah, because certainly succession between the two of them increases the life span and dispels poverty and sins as fire removes impurities.”
